Final 2009 Tourny Results

In the Gold, McHenry EV Free rally's from a 3-2 deficit to overtake Willow in the 7th inning and wins 7-3.

Congrats to Mike Orlando and EV Free and Brian Claypool and his ROOKIE Willow team. It was an impressive run for a rookie team and Lord Willin' they return next year, they are a team to watch.

In the Platinum semi-final, Mt. Hope defeats Fellowship of Faith Team #1 Congrats to Paul Schwegel and his Mt. Hope team and to Bret Taylor and his FOF#1 team for a fine run this season.

In the Championship game, St. Pat's emerged with #6 in a row as Mt. Hope never really got back into the game after an 11 run first inning by St. Pats.

Congrats to Scott Richardson and his St. Pat's team for this unprecedented run in our league.

Regrettably, an ejection occurred of a Mt. Hope player after an over the top violation of the COC against his own team mate. Hopefully, the player will reflect, apologize and return next year with a hard lesson learned, which is, the COC is in force.

After the game, I offered a formal apology to the fans remaining. To their credit, Mt. Hope also formally apologized to the fans.
