Off-season Field Search Results

During the off-season, intensive searching was undertaken to secure more playing surfaces to allow further expansion of the league.

This effort was primarily led by Steve Brown of SOTP.

Fields in Crystal Lake, LITH, Algonquin, Woodstock, McHenry, Spring Grove and Johnsburg were inquired of. Of those, a SINGLE field was obtained, Hiller Park Softball Field.

The long term goal would be to obtain a suite of playing surfaces to the south and break off our Southern teams from Crystal Lake and Huntley to seed a new southern conference for the league.

As God has brought in the increase in this league, it is apparent a higher purpose other than watching his children run around the bases for an hour, is at work here.

Please say a prayer as we seek to do His will for this league and that if He would grow it even more beyound 26 teams, that He would provide the playing surfaces to do so.
