The saughter rule is it a slaughter? I wonder why 20 is the magic number why not ten or five. It should only be if the team is winning by fifteen or more after the fifth. What if both teams are scoring runs. It seems very unjust to stop the game at 20. why not fifty. I hope the point is made.

Slaughter is 13 run lead at the end of innings 4 or 5 or 6 ONLY.
Circuit Breaker rule is 20 runs or more at the end of inning 4 or 5 or 6 and is FULLY explained in the rules here on-line.
We have talked about this extensively at the winter meeting and therefor NO manager should be surprised about this.
