Good Guys Postlogue

I wanted to take the time to extend a hearty thank you for all those that participated in or came to watch the Good Guys event.

Although the crowd totals were not near what we had hoped, a decent sum of money was raised for the pantry that when combined with their 10-1 buying power, will still enable them to purchase a substantial amount of food stuffs for their shelves.

However, to be frank, I was very disappointed and in fact discouraged in the low attendance and was particularly disappointed in the players not coming out to support their managers from the church league, nor the congregants supporting their churches participation.

By my estimation, the league was 99% absent from the event when factoring in the sum total of players across 26 teams! An even higher % were absent when you consider the combined numbers of peoples that attend the 20 churches in the league. That fact should grieve us all.

It is way to soon to share details, but I have some ideas should there be a Good Guys III (If the Lord should bless us with a Good Guys III event).
