DRAFT Ballot Items. IF you want something added, please submit by e-mail. Deadline is Feb 5th. Meeting is the 12th!

1.) Shall the league re-align the divisions based on the previous 3 years won-loss record?
Teams over 500 would be placed into a Platinum Division.
Teams under 500 would be placed into a Gold Division.
Teams would move up or down between the divisions
based on their current 3 years won-loss record.
Teams without 3 years of records would be seeded
based on whatever there record was the last 1-2 seasons.
Rookie teams would be automatically placed into the Gold.

Y = Re-align as described above.
N = Keep the current geographic alignment of North and South.
(NOTE: In the event of a NO vote, at leagues discretion, a team(s)
can be shifted between the two in order to balance the divisions out
for scheduling purposes.)

2.) Shall the league RETAIN the current playoff format of
under 500 teams in a single elimination tournament and
teams 500 and over in a double elimination tournament?

Y = Yes, I like the current format.
N = No, lets do something different.

3.) Shall the league modify rule 7.1.2(c)

FROM (Applies to alternating position only)
(c.) (Injury/ejection/player must leave) replacement. In the event a player has to leave that is NOT sharing a spot in the batting order you may move a player from a shared spot into the empty spot AFTER a meeting with the home plate umpire and the other manager. The person eligible to be moved into the empty spot shall be the person who made last out in the last shared position in the order.

TO (Applies to alternating position only)
(c.) Replacement. In the event a player has to leave that is NOT sharing a spot in the batting order, you may move a player from a shared spot into the empty spot AFTER a meeting with the home plate umpire and the other manager. The person eligible to be moved into the empty spot shall be the person who made last out in the last shared position in the order. If that is not possible, whomever is available can be put into the empty spot.

4.) Shall a team field an umpire first before they can put a 10th player onto the field?

Y = No umpire means only 9 fielders.
N = No biggie, we just work it out.

5.) Shall the league amend rule 7.4 (Designated runner from home) to allow this for injured players? Currently the rule applies to someone with a permanent impediment to running.

Y = Allow an injured player to still bat and have a designated runner from home plate. Runner would be whoever made last out.
N

6.) Shall the league guarantee all players that show up on any given night will play at least 3 innings that evening? Exceptions would be injury or a shortened game due to weather, slaughter rule or circuit breaker.
