Work day at Hiller this Saturday, Lord willin'. 9AM
MCFSL owned Knaack box will be brought to Hiller and chained to 3rd base dugout fence on work day. Key for Knaack box at Hiller is NOT the same as Shamrock Key!!!
Larger box at Hiller is owned by Pigtails. We have access. There is a magnetic key holder in the INSIDE lid of our Knaack box that has a key to the larger Knaack box. If you use it, do NOT lose it and return key to magnetic case and stick back to inside lid of our box! I will be personally very upset if anybody screws that up and loses that key that was entrusted to us by the Pigtails. Larger box has a rake that is Pigtails property.
Opening night this Monday with a 6:15PM ceremony start at Township field 1, Lord willin'!
Pray the rains are enough for the farmers but not enough to wash out the fields Monday evening!
Audit your bag with the audit sheet. Random bag checks are REALLY happening starting Monday evening April 25th.
Test your keys!!! ALL Shamrock keys handed out April 2nd at McHenry EV Free Spring meeting are BAD-BAD-BAD. The WRONG key was copied. Affected keys had a green rubber collar.
Pick up good Shamrock key from me ASAP. I have good ones that all test out ok.
Rosters are due at end of first played game. Penalty if late is as follows: "Taking the field for your second game without the uni-form having been submitted will be allowed, but a win will be logged as a forfeit. Your team will be barred from taking the field for all subsequent games UNTIL your form is submitted and accepted into the roles. You will also incur a $10 per week fine for non-submission."
A rejected roster form will also count as being not submitted!!! Avoid rejection by insuring; All players printed name and addresses filled in, all signatures for all players, (have college kids fill out a supplemental form and submit later), Pastor's signature on authorization sheet naming you and your #2. Attached church bulletin with softball announcement. Verification of face to face meeting is at league discretion and at random. Please make sure you had that meeting with you, your pastor and your #2 all together when the pastor was presented the roster. You really don't want to know what would happen if I find out there was no face to face meeting and you submit a form stating there was one. :-(
Staple or paperclip all 3 together and deposit all in box at Field 1 at Township underneath bulletin board at backstop. Yes, this means if your first game is at Shamrock or at Hiller, you must drive over to the Township that evening and deposit rosters into box.
Do a final read through of league specific rules.
Print and keep a copy of rules and league contact page in your bag. They are both final minus a few asst. mgr. pics on the contact page.
