As dawn broke over our shores, all America arose to the riveting and joyful news that the main culprit behind 9-11, Osama Bin Laden, had been killed by United States Navy Seals in a daring operation that, Praise God, saw none of the Good Guys killed.
With justice now having been served upon a man with the blood of thousands on his head, Americans from sea to shining sea once again stand United.
I received word of this momentous event via text late last evening from my son Joseph. My wife and I immediately turned on the news and waited patiently for the President's official announcement. It was a great speech for a great moment of celebration and relief for all Americans.
I arose from my chair and put the flags out and left the porch light on and we went to bed, relieved! I learned that while we slept, throngs of Americans started spontaneous celebrations! Oh! Happy Day!
While the war on terror is far from over, I personally feel a sense of relief and exuberance that this evil man was ushered into the ultimate courtroom before Heavens throne and no doubt received a far greater justice and eternal punishment.
Bravo to President Bush and Obama for starting and staying the course, respectively!
Bravo to the Navy Seals!
Bravo to all the men and women from all the armed forces that worked behind the scenes and on the front lines that made this Happy Day possible!
It's a great day to be an American!
Oh Happy Day!

I believe we need to remember that we should only rejoice that he is not going to be able to hurt any more. I dont think we should focus on his death. I dont want to bring in scripture. So I say let us rejoice on closure in this matter.
