The leagues All-Star day was a smashing success. There were at least 8 teams grilling and a lot of people chillin'.
The HR Derby was stunning in that ONLY 1 home run! Years past have seen upwards of 30 dingers. Winner was Mt. Hope Asst. Mgr. Cody Ozyuk. I think the heat and humidity made for 'dead air'.
The game itself was a great 9 inning exhibition that saw the Gold team on top over the Platinum 11-9. This was a feather in their cap considering the Gold is our 'lower' division. Not so yesterday!
I took a sample audible vote and the aye's had it to move this event back to a Monday evening. We'll probably do that too.
