NEW for 2010.
In the event your infield is unplayable at the township and you switch over to the outfield grass, a new ground rule will be in effect for 'homers'.
Previously the ground rule was first one over is a homer, the rest are ground rule doubles.
For this year, the new ground rule shall be;
First one over in the inning is a double. All others are a single.
The reasoning is simple, the porch is just way to short when games are shifted to the outfield grass. At the same time, it would not be fair to have these fair balls ruled an out or 'do over' either. So this is a nice compromise that should allow games to go a full 7 innings. The previous rules I believe would lead to games ending early due to circuit breaker or slaughter.
