Good Guys III Update:
In consultation with our friends in McHenry PD and MTFPD, the Good Guys format is reverting back to a single 9 inning game on Sunday evening July 17th. Earlier that same day is the McHenry Fiesta Days Parade. The previous evening is Family Faith Night. So this is a jam packed Grand Finale weekend for Fiesta Days that will be capped off with the Charity game for FISH Food Pantry.

The Good Guys team from the league will include one representative per team. Managers and Assistant Managers have first and second dibs respectively.

This is also the City of McHenry's 175th birthday. Accordingly, the starting lineup for Good Guys III will feature the representatives from the McHenry Churches FIRST (ie. within the city limits).

That would be;

1. Alliance Bible Church
2. First Baptist Church of McHenry
3. First United Methodist Church of McHenry
4. Church of Holy Apostles Catholic
5. St. Patrick's Catholic
6. Maranatha Assembly of God
7. McHenry Evangelical Free
8. Faith Presbyterian
9. Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran

We'll have upwards of a 28 man roster so, all players will play no more than 3 innings.

RAFFLE ITEMS NEEDED!
We need volunteers to take the ball and run with this! Canvas local businesses in a professional manner and collect items for the in game raffles that are drawn every half inning.
Things we are looking for;

1. Gift Certificates/Cards
2. Product
3. Services
4. Tickets to events (dated after July 17th)

It would really work great if someone stepped up to be the head coordinator of this effort.

League Picnic and All-Star Game
Sunday July 24th 3 PM.
The annual All-star game and picnic will be held one week after Good Guys III (Lord willin')

Last years picnic was a huge bust from a participation standpoint, lets turn this around people! Promote this as a family oriented team picnic for your team and their family members and get people signed up early for this. As a reminder to rookie managers, each team must bring everything they need for their own picnic.

As a teaser, the league's 2011 Playoff Tournament Seeding's and schedule will be unveiled that evening! Not before! So lets shoot for the goal of 22 grills cooking good food and a great time of Fellowship! (One grill per church.)
