Season Re-starts Tonight!

Clearing line is approaching from the west. I can see blue sky off in the distance. Front is passing and behind it is HOT air. Game time temps expected to be near 90 degrees this evening. Bring water and keep hydrated.

For most players, this will be the most physically demanding evening of the year with the heat, sun and humidity. Keep an eye on each other and the tell tale signs of dehydration.

Tonight also marks the start of Twilight games. These are 7:30 games on unlit fields, taking advantage of the late setting sun. With 5 unlit fields, twilight games affect 20 time slots and upwards of 20 teams! The key to their success is a 6:30 start on the dot, teams hustling on and off, no throwing the ball around after the first inning.

Have fun and BE SAFE out there!
