It was a great night for softball!  Great ceremony.  Both the Schwegel and DeVita Family were deeply touched as we honored Paul Schwegel and Frank DeVita as a part of the Opening Ceremony.

Platinum Managers and Asst. Coaches.  You have 1 week to get me a one paragraph bio of yourself that will be included in the May newsletter. Include name, role and team.  How long in the league and a paragraph about yourself.

 

Gold coaches, your bio’s will be in the June newsletter.   Your deadline is 2 weeks.  This info may be used in Good Guys material later in July.

Shamrock Field 2:

Thanks to Bret Taylor for a heads up alert regarding home plate and 1^stbase.  I have forwarded the info onto Ambrose Kittl of McHenry Parks and Rec. for his grounds crew to address.

 

Township Field Maintenance:

No start date yet, Terry reports he has to get the grass in at the FISH building and new grass at the football field, then they will start on field 3 and 4 infield rehab as well as improving drainage in spectator areas around those fields.
