This year’s All-Star game returns to its roots on Monday night July 16th, Lord Willin'. The very first Picnic, HR Derby and All-star game we ever had several years ago was on a Monday night and was a huge success and highly attended. Subsequent ones were on Saturday or Sunday. All had varying levels of success.
Except for last year, I believe none came close to matching the attendance and number of grills going as that first one did several years ago. So back to the future we go!
As usual, each team is responsible for bringing EVERYTHING they need for their own individual cookout.
The HR Derby promises to be EPIC!!!
The League has purchased 8 Home Run Derby softballs called Launch 650. These softballs are ILLEGAL in every league on the planet because they are so hard! These softballs are so hard it will be like you hitting a 12 inch billiard ball with an aluminum bat!
