Farewell for now Paul Schwegel

Today at 1PM at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church in McHenry, we say good bye to our old friend Paul Schwegel, retired manager of the Mt. Hope softball team. Paul was a charter member of our league when it formed in 1978 and dearly loved the game. After the initial announcement went out, Rob Revak, Asst. Mgr. of the St. Paul UCC team from Crystal Lake responded that he had actually known Paul from childhood and remembered playing a lot of baseball with Paul in those days., Thankfully, Paul put his Faith in Jesus Christ and is now and ever more will be healed of his infirmities. I expect he's having some fun playing ball again in Heaven! As Christians, we have the ability to say "Bye for now", because we get to meet again. Praise the Lord.
